Located in the southwest of the town & appellation of Montagne St Emilion, Chateau Maison Blanche is one of the most beautiful wine-growing estates in the region. Francoise Rapin inherited the proper-ty in 1972. Since 2009, her children are managing the estate.
After the 2005 harvest, they made the decision to convert all their vineyards to organic agriculture and 2009 was the first wines made from grapes of organic agriculture.
Tasting Notes
Les Piliers de Maison Blanche is the second wine of the estate. The wine has a structured nose of dark red fruits, which is dense and for-ward. On the palate flavors of rich blueberry, black berry and light acidity. This Bio Dynamic wine is very pure finishing with elegant tannins.
Aged in second time French oak barrels for 15 months .
Pare with rich cheese and cold cuts. Rich seafood dishes, scallops and cream sauces. Grilled meats and lighter vegetables.
