Chateau-Thebaud”.
Hand harvesting, natural yeasts. Pneumatic pressing without
crushing, which ensures utmost respect for the bunches of grapes. Matured on the lees for an extended period of 36 to 48 month, or even longer. This Cuvée was bottled on July 5th, 2018.
Tasting Notes:
Golden color with shiny straw-like reflections.
Powerful nose dominated by the minerality of gunflint aromas combined with complex mentholated hints and citrus fruit such as Clementine. Beautiful structure with fragrances of candied lemon peel and jasmine, evolving to toasty notes. Fleshiness on the mid-palate providing a silky texture. Powerful and lengthy finish.
Pairs beautifully with grilled fish in sauces, charcuterie, cheese and deserts. Open an hour before serving and can also be decanted to fully express its terroir. This is an aging white that you will enjoy for many years.
