The estate is on the rolling hills of Blaye in the appellation. 

The Malbec plot is only .8 Ha, and vines of 25 years old. Harvesting at night during cooler temperatures, second week of September.

Vinification without sulfur dioxide, from the harvesting to the bottling. Temperature control for alcoholic fermentation.  Extraction by short and several pump overs. Maceration above 30 days. Aging takes place in concrete tanks, bottling in the Chateau. Limited production of 6000 bottles

Tasting Notes:

Color: Brilliant, intense purple. Nose is very expressive with notes of cherry, strawberry and spices. Powerful and generous, round on the palate. Well-balanced mid-palate with aromas of black cherry, blueberry and violet. The finish has a good length, earthy minerality, suggesting a good ageing potential.

Pair this well balanced red with rich plates, aged  cheeses, grilled red meats or game  roasted vegetables and entrees with sauces.
