Located just outside the village of Cardan, this family run estate stands proudly overlooking the Cotes de Bordeaux region. Ms. Chantal Benito-Larnaudie has been at the helm since 2005, producing reds, dry whites and sweet whites united by a shared sense of finesse.
The vines are planted on clay-limestone slopes, with some prominent patches of deep gravels. And heavy stones.
Tasting Notes:
This beautiful blend has a full bouquet of dark summer berries. The richness of the Merlot comes thru on the front of the palate providing bursts of ripe red berries, and light spices. Mid palate the wine shows the early mature structure as the varietals compliment each other with soft but full mature tannins, more spice, light pepper and soft textures. The deep ruby red color in the glass is intense and pleasing.
Pair with rich plates, aged cheeses, grilled red meats or game ,
roasted vegetables and entrees with sauces.
