The vineyard of Chateau Lestage-Darquier, of the oldest of Moulis, was created at the beginning of the 19th century by M. Darquier. Situated on the west part of the famous gravel hill-top of Grand-Poujeaux. To ensure quality of terroir the wine is classified “Protection Raisonnee du Vignoble”.
Tasting Notes
Intense aromas, the wine presents hints of spices and vanilla, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, 1/3 new.
