Winemaking

Hand picked in the early morning in October to maintain low temperatures and delay fermentation.  After malolactic fermentation the wine is refined in stainless steel for 6 months with bottle refinement.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby color with aromas and flavors of rich red and black fruits, figs, sweet baking spices, tobacco and cherry rum-essence fills the glass.  Enjoy with mature cheeses and hearty ragu sauces and grilled smoky meats.
